EXplanation: The very high price of oil from March 2011 till July 2014 has fed the national budgets and private assets within the few autocratic Oil countries, from which huge funds have been chanelled to the mercenary groups 5CIA quoted a total expenditure of 90 billions $ for this criminal purpose. THis is why I advocated since more than 2 decades to add heavy taxes on fossil fuel and to re allocate this fiscal resource to the financing of the energy transition, which in turn will reduce demand for oil and gas and the excessive financial power of the few autocratic oil countries.
