Dear Mr. XXXX,

Thank you for your letter. Unfortunately, we cannot publish the article you

Dear Sir,

I am sorry, but there seems to be a misunderstanding, we do not want to propose you our writing, we would invite your journalists to study the case and your journalist would do the writing as he sees fit.

Dear Mr. XXXXX

I am sorry for the misunderständing.

DER SPIEGEL receives many tips and proposals for topics from its readers.
Our journalists appreciate the interest in their work and review these
letters carefully.

However, it is not possible to use all of the information in articles in
DER SPIEGEL. Some of the problems and events mentioned by our readers have
already been discussed in daily newspapers or even in DER SPIEGEL. Some do
not describe topics of general interest or are not of importance for
society as a whole and thus are not suitable for publication at the
national level, or are relevant only locally or privately. Some of the tips
are stored in our archives for possible consideration at a later date.

If DER SPIEGEL wishes to use your information, you will be contacted by one
of our journalists.

Antwoord:
Willy Van Damme

Yours sincerely,
