Anthony Sutton schrijft dat dit niet zo is.
Het is vooral J.P. Morgan die de zaak financierde.
Maar er zijn diverse bronnen die beweren dat àchter Morgan de Rothschilds zaten.

Morgan firm, rumor had it that they had formed a secret alliance.
Nathan Rothschild was not well liked, in part because of religious
prejudice. Morgan biographer George Wheeler wrote in 1973, “Part
of the reality of the day was an ugly resurgence of anti-Semitism. . . .
Someone was needed as a cover.” August Belmont (born Schoenberg)
had played that role for Rothschild during the Civil War; but when
the Belmont/Rothschild connection became common knowledge, the
ploy no longer worked. Wheeler wrote, “Who better than J. Pierpont
Morgan, a solid, Protestant exemplar of capitalism able to trace his
family back to pre-Revolutionary times?
Ook Eustace Mullins, Gabriel Kolko en Andrew Hitchcock hebben deze visie.
Ik meen me wel te herinneren dat ik gelezen heb dat Jacob Schiff de revolutie financierde, maar bij Sutton lezen we dat niet.
Misschien maakt het ook niet zo heel veel uit: Àlle bankiers dromen er van om de wereld te controleren. Dat lezen we bij Carroll Quigley ( 1967, citaat 20), maar ook al bij Sutton als hij schrijft over het Marburg Plan uit ca. 1900: “But Leon Trotsky also declared himself …” http://tiny.cc/zhlfpw

De vraag is of er wel zoveel te financieren was met die Russische revolutie.
Ik zie ook hier weeral veel discussie, tegenstellingen en twijfels. Ik blijf dus voorzichtig.
